- Fitness Blender
We love this channel because it’s completely free of any jargon or gimmicks. Instead, it offers more 600 full-length workout videos all headed by the husband and wife team who run it. At least 150 of the videos on offer are based on high intensity interval training (HIIT), which can help you lose weight and shape up super fast.
You can also download their free to use online workout calendar, which is fully customisable. Check out their healthy recipes and general fitness advice too. They’re friendly, down to earth and offer everything you need.
- Blogilates
Casey Ho has been creating free exercise videos on this channel for about ten years. She includes everything from POP Pilates to bootcamp style exercises in her videos that promise to sculpt, define and enhance your muscles. Most of the workouts on the channel only need a mat so they’re ideal to do at home.
- . Yoga with Adriene
We love this channel for its simple but impactful yoga instructional videos, that cater not only for the body but also the mind. This prolonged pandemic is taking a toll on our mental health as well as our physical health. Using regular exercise to maintain a general balance is a good plan, particularly for those stuck in lockdown.
Adriene has 9.4 million subscribers, who are all benefiting from her channel. Her mission is to provide free yoga videos for everyone, regardless of your age, fitness level or experience in yoga. She also creates instructional videos that address specific needs, such as back pain or stress. And if you’re completely new to yoga, we can’t recommend her Yoga For Complete Beginners highly enough.
- The Body Coach
Most people know him as Joe Wickes, and millions of us have tried his regular PE lessons with the kids during lockdown. The Body Coach truly is for everyone, with Joe offering workout plans for every level of fitness. He strongly believes that everyone should have access to professional workouts, regardless of income or fitness level, so that’s what he offers. As well as the daily PE classes, Joe’s videos include HIIT and timed workouts.
For the best results of any workout plan, you need to include nutrition. A clean diet is best, with plenty of fresh vegetables. Include nutritional supplements too, as these can help to boost your fitness and general wellbeing.
