Hunter Test Blend

The Hunter blend puts a heavy focus on increasing testosterone & free testosterone production as well as limiting factors that lower production, estrogen levels, SHBG, etc. Ashwagandha is the only ingredient with a dual benefit of testosterone health as well as cognitive function. This is good to see in a product of this type but could have potentially been explored further as Centrapeak has done. Ingredients such as the vitamins and minerals also have an additional benefit in providing the body with optimal levels of these nutrients for natural bodily function. DAA is a bit of a let down with this product, there has been a handful of studies that question the effectiveness of this in the long term. Additionally, DAA requires a large portion of the capsule size to be effective which takes room away from ingredients that can create additional benefits or support the other ingredients further.

Vitamin D3

This essential nutrient is vital to bodily function and can be classed as a hormone for the role it plays in the body. We generally intake Vitamin D when the body reacts with sunlight to produce it with some of this vitamin being taken in by certain food sources. It has several benefits to our health such as increasing the absorption rate of vital minerals like calcium as well as being vital to testosterone production.

Studies have shown there is a direct link from vitamin D levels to testosterone levels and this idea is backed by the supposed link of low vitamin D levels to low testosterone. Hunter has opted for a healthy dose of 5000IU which was recently recommended by the Vitamin D Council as the ideal dosage.

Vitamin K2

Vitamin K is another important nutrient involved in bodily functions, Vitamin K activates proteins that play a key role in healthy blood clotting, calcium metabolism, and heart health. One of Vitamin Ks main functions is to regulate calcium depositions in the body, meaning it promotes the calcification of bones and prevents the calcification of blood vessels and kidneys.

Magnesium

Magnesium’s main function is to regulate bone structure in the body, but it provides a variety of different benefits for the human body, especially for testosterone. When the human body doesn’t get enough protein it starts secreting more SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin) as SHBG increases in the body it binds with Testosterone making it unusable. Testosterone prefers binding to magnesium rather than SHBG, so the Hunter test’s 200mg per serving will allow you to preserve the levels of testosterone in the body effectively.

Zinc

Zinc deficiency is common throughout the world, especially in places like the USA. Studies show that zinc deficiency is often linked with low testosterone. Growth Hormone (GH) follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)  and luteinizing hormone (LH) are key for testosterone production, Zinc is needed to stimulate these hormones to help maximize testosterone production, Hunters 30mg dosage gives you 200% more than the daily value which will aid the production of testosterone, but not enough to gain any side effects.

D-Aspartic Acid

D-Aspartic is an amino acid that works similarly to zinc with its relationship to the Luteinizing hormone (LH). The conclusion to one studied showed that ‘D-aspartic acid is a physiological amino acid occurring principally in the pituitary gland and testes and has a role in the regulation of the release and synthesis of LH and testosterone in humans’. D-Aspartic Acid has also been found to boost sperm count in men, in one study 60 men with fertility problems found that taking D-aspartic acid supplements for three months substantially increased the number of sperm they produced. Asian Ginseng
